Check out the Nikon SB-800 in its NASA-made Space Suit.

Black Rapid has rolled out a revised version of its popular RS-5 camera strap.

This revamped version of the classic camera strap is made from ballistic nylon rather than the ripstop nylon of the original RS-5. The new incarnation features expanded storage, increased organisational features and enhanced closure.

It combines zippered pockets with a phone compartment roomy enough to accommodate even larger smart phones. And a magnetic clasp opens silently, allowing you to connect the RS-5 to a tripod socket in noise-sensitive situations.

A Photographer’s Right to Shoot

This item was filled under [ News ]

On June 21, 2011, non-profit organization Shoot Experience sent out six photographers to various parts of London to see the current state of photographers’ rights.

The photographers were instructed to keep to public land and photograph the area as they would on a normal day. The event aimed to test the policing of public and private space by private security firms and their reaction to photographers.

All six photographers were stopped on at least one occasion. Three encounters led to police action.

Check it out!
