Gary has been a working professional in the photographic field for more than twenty years. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York City, Gary began as a photographer’s assistant, quickly pursuing commercial clients of his own. Gary spent time travelling the world with his camera before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2002. It was in Florida that Gary met his other true love, Charmaine, a native Torontonian. Gary moved to Toronto in 2003.
Best known for his edgy, colourful portraiture, Gary has worked for such well-known clients as RJ Reynolds, Pepsi, IBM, Delta Airlines, Sony Records, TVT Records and Book of the Month Club. His shots have appeared in Vogue, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, New York Magazine and the Village Voice.
Gary now works full time at Vistek’s downtown Toronto location, as Vistek’s Products Manager, for all professional equipment. Gary also teaches seminars and is available for private tutoring and consultations.
